Battle Systems - Core Space First Born Starter Set

Core Space: First Born is a solo/co-operative sci-fi miniatures game in which your band of Traders venture into the temples of the First Born, a fanatical alien species that do not welcome intruders! The game takes place on a detailed 3D board in which Traders must explore the area, meet their objectives, recover what they can and then escape back to their ship, spending their winnings on desperately needed repairs. An exciting campaign system will allow you to progress your team of Traders in each game of the campaign, being able to develop their skills and improve their equipment as you progress through the story of Core Space.

At the furthermost tip of the galaxy burns a small white star. Here lie the remnants of the First Born, an advanced civilization that conquered the galaxy long ago but found themselves utterly alone, and brought low by civil war. One war-like faction placed themselves into suspended animation and waited. For millions of years they slept, but the sleep wasn’t dreamless, and the First Born were slowly driven mad. Fanatical and paranoid, they learned to fear and despise the new species that they once longed for.

When the Traders arrived in a seemingly abandoned asteroid field to pick over the bones of a long-dead people, the First Born were awoken…
