In Mice and Mystics, players take on the roles of heroes still loyal to the king, but to escape Vanestra's clutches, they've been turned into mice! Play as a fearless field mouse who must navigate the castle, now twenty times larger than before.

The Revised Third Edition is compatible with all previously published content and other expansions. All spelling, grammar, and expressions have been thoroughly revised, and much of the text has been rewritten to further enhance the gameplay and narrative. Plus, the Third Edition of this classic will feature a major new addition: all chapters of the game will be narrated by a professional voice-over artist!

Mice and Mystics is a cooperative adventure game in which players work together to save a kingdom in peril. They will face numerous adversaries such as rats, cockroaches, spiders, and of course, the greatest horror of all: Brodie, the castle cat. Mice and Mystics is a bold and innovative game that immerses players in an ever-changing interactive environment, with a sophisticated story that players will help create throughout the game's 12 chapters. The Cheese System allows players to collect bits of precious cheese they find on their journey and use them to empower their mice with impressive new abilities, enabling them to overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges against all odds. Mice and Mystics can be played by up to 6 players. Although most of the adventures in the first storybook are designed for 1-4 players, it is also possible and even recommended, especially in the first few games, for one player to be the narrator and guide the adventure while the rest play the intrepid mice. In this case, the base player count would be extended to 5.
