In Ticket to Ride you get into the role of a train route builder and you will have to connect an entire Continent before your rivals.

October 2, 1900. 28 years after that eccentric Londoner, Phileas Fogg, accepted a challenge that would earn him 20,000 pounds: to go around the world in 80 days. Now, at the dawn of a new century, it's time to embark on an even more impossible journey. Some old friends have gathered to celebrate Fogg's impetuous and lucrative bet, and to propose a new one. The prize: 1 million dollars for the winner. The bet: to see who is capable of visiting the most North American cities by train, in just 7 days. The journey begins now...

Ticket to Ride! is a train adventure game. Players accumulate cards of certain types of cars that allow them to connect different cities across North America. The longer the rides, the more points are earned. Those who manage to fulfill their Destination Tickets by connecting two distant cities, and whoever manages to build the longest continuous railway route, will earn additional points.
