Build inns and cathedrals to increase the value of your roads and cities.

The first expansion for Carcassonne includes new tiles, rules and, most importantly, the necessary pieces to increase the number of players to a maximum of six. The new Inns and Cathedrals rules include Roadside Inns, which increase the value of roads, and Cathedrals, which triple the value of cities.

You will only be able to play this expansion if you already own the base game of Carcassonne. You can incorporate the entire expansion or just some of its parts. Similarly, you can combine this expansion with the other Carcassonne expansions as you prefer.
