Beyond the clouds rests the kingdom of Ankar. Thanks to a powerful force known as Energy, the islands of Ankar have stayed afloat in the sky and lived in harmony for centuries.

However, due to the excessive use of said Energy by various factions of Ankar, the world has become unbalanced and the islands, which had traditionally been separated from each other, have collided with each other. The Ankarians call this event "Unification."

Cloudspire tells the story of a war to acquire a rare and powerful energy known only as "the Source." Each Ankar race has its own unique units and heroes, as well as the ability to bid and recruit mercenaries for hire.

In Cloudspire you are in command of one of these unique factions. Assume leadership of your fortress, heroes, minions and defensive spires, and claim your dominion over the land of Ankar. With a fantastic mix of tower defense style games, kingdom management and tactics development, Cloudspire's asymmetrical gameplay will test your strategy planning skills through exciting competitive matches as well as campaigns. . Solo and cooperative play is based on a book that tells the story of the game from the perspective of each individual faction. Players control one of four factions in a battle to destroy and steal their opponents' energy source. Dispatch and defend against armies and minions, build towers to protect your base, and explore with your heroes in search of resources and powerful relics to turn the tide of battle.
